Proteins when you dont have insulin or spike Combined proteins are a quick way to drop elevated glucose.
When you are ill or for any other reason that you have and spike its not easy to drop points.
But here are a few tricks that work!
To drop quite a bit choose proteins that are similar to the old style Pork insulin. Why on earth they stopped this is beyond me because it was a great insulin with little weight gain vs the new analog DNA derivitives.
Anyway:
4 ounces of country ham, a pork chop, 5 strips of bacon willd rop glucose within 15 minutes.
beef jerky and hard cheese will maintain lucose and keep you in the low range instead of choosing another type of snack. jerky is satsfying - Add a bit of salt for zing
eating celery, apples can create a food binge cycle
Choose foods that are satisfying and help you with better control...
