Default Hello!

Hi everyone!

My father-in-law is a diabetic and I'm trying to help control my husband's blood sugar. Unfortunately, we're sugar junkies. I look forward to meeting everyone and learning more about controlling diabetes.

Talking Hi!

Great to hear your proactive in this. I know about being sugar junkies....
alot of teh recipes use splenda so give them a whirl to keep that sweet tooth!

Theer are alot of different treatments out there.... and alot of different pieces of information. you can get some great ebooks to help you get started. remember no food it out of bounds, and exercise is important!

I am now type 1, on insulin and have never been happier!I also carb count and use both slimfast and teh south beach diet for not only optimum control but for energy and weight loss.........

diabetes is just like having gray hair , its part of he person.......
Thats what my DE told me and its so true.............
