Default Frio insulin cooling products

Hay Everyone, has anybody tried the Frio cooling wallets. I must say how effective they are, especially when I went to Tenerife last summer on holiday. I had only been told I had diabetes a few weeks before traveling but this did not hold me back. I consulted my GP and she advised me to buy a Frio wallet to keep my insulin cool until I got to the fridge in the hotel.
To my utter disbelief there was neither fridge nor fridge available in the hotel to store my insulin. Luckily I bought the Frio only intending its use for the transfer to the hotel, but it kept my insulin cool for the whole of my holiday.

I must add that not many people know that insulin degrades if it is exposed to temperatures higher than 30 degrees C.

Two words to describe a Frio ‘Life Saver’.

I havent used them, but I do get cool wrap from teh EMS supply. You wrap it around the vials and it works really well.

being as I rarley travel I use thpse ridge packs thatf it into my glucose meter pack.

I ahve thought about buying the Frio but I found at the hiking store the same thing abit cheaper......
But you do have me wondering what was in Tenerife? do tell about your trip.........
