Default Hello!

Hello!
My name is Kc. I have had Diabetes for 25 years and I'm interested in this website for feed-back. I had my first insulin reaction {seizure} in 10 years last month and it really scared me. What puzzeled me was that I had just tested at a 73 then immediatley went down into to a seizure after that. Has that ever happed so quickly to anyone else?:
Kc

Default Hello!

I think that can happen to anyone.
Maybe you didnt have neough glycogen in reserve to act a buffer.
I have had that happen, dpwn to 25 on Humulin R ony once. But never seizured.... I just couldnt stop shaking.
So what did you do for it? or was this a hospital visit afterwards?

I am glad that your alright. Did they change your insulin or figure out what had happened at all?
Or have you adjusted your diet?
Now this makes me wonder about sensitivity in my own body against my Lantus........
