I was wondering what indixes you all keep regular track of. I mean blood glucose is important each day but do you also monitor cholesterol, triglycerides, BMI, blood pressure?

I keep track of Glucose testings, food diary sometimes,BMI, exercise that I do
(at presidentschallenge.org) and illnesses and weight- also at presidents challenege and at Slimfast.com

I learned that these tools keep me in better control and I can see trtends or slipups.
I cam also see binge eating. LIke I am addicted to deans Guacamole and Kettle chips. Thats all I wold eat for a day. Thsi went on for months and I have an elevated cholestrol.... so.. though I crave it I avoide it.

Glucose testing when I have enough strips shows me how well my food works.
I wish I had teh cable and software to upload the info to my system.

julie

I wouldn't go nuts over blood pressure or cholesterol - I get tested every few months at the dr. office and that's it; since it can flucatuate just a bit by walking around the corner and being nervous!

I think your blood sugars are the most important thing to keep track of. All the other things matter as well, but the blood sugars will definitely show you a warning sign if there is anything wrong at all.
