Default afraid of the needle

More and more people look at diabetes as a new in thingto have....... geeze a celebrity disease.....

anyway, I was at Burger KIng the otherday and i have a habit that before i eat i do a check....at the table.
No biggie.
and I was thinking as I read 195, that i need a shot. So i took out my voial and new syringe and poked and took my shot, no second thought I just did it like blinking. Thats me, not afrid, no big deal on a shot. But I know alot of people who are afraid of teh shots. they are afraid the needle is going to break in the skin, and they are afraid tehoir diabetes got worse if teh need a shot. MAny are just afraid it will hurt.

I can tell you that taking a shot is no big deal. the needles do not break in the skin, and they do not hurt anymore.
Taking insulin does notmean your diabets is worse. it means better control and really freedom to eat.

I often get talked into showing people, in teh ladies room what I am doing.. and many who are diabetic ask lots of questions......

so if your not in control, or your oral meds are begining to fail. dont be afraid of the shot. its easy and painless..............
