Default Christmas/Chanukah Marketplace

We are doing a chanukah bush this year.
we ae also making alllinds of non harmful ornaments. We have an older Basset hound that we rae making sure we prevent diabetes in. And we have a houseful of two year old pups. The others are just as lazy as canbe, but are great hunters. IN searchng for foods that can be eaten by both thebasset and myself we disocverd that Ginger snaps and gingerbread little impact on my blood sugar.
We also found a few goodies for stocking/dreidel stuffers.

So I was thinking about getting present ideas for both diabetic " babies" and diabetic people. that would be welcome, and even if you make it.

Since keeping my p[ractice as a consltancy base for the NDEP I have time on my hands now. So I got into all kinds of crafty things.

Like I make bracelets form sterlin and genuine stones that my husbands tumbles polsihed and drills with some charms and a large tag that says I take insulin for my blood sugar or I have diabetes please test before treating me or just simple ones that say I have diabetes.
The price goes from 10.00 on up.
I also designed a baby and toddler doll with areas for insulin injections and pump placements, they attach by velcro.
edible ornaments.. these are made with splenda and dragees there is also an instuctional.
so what have you got thats interesting......

Default Down time is fun time

Since I decided to leave the world of active medicine, after 29 years and becoming a consultant and field support for organizations, I often get assignments. CMEs to maintin my AMA standing doesnt take that long. So I have plently fo time.
I decided to go back to school to work on a BA specifically in Ethnography and that doesnt take that long,. maybe a few hours a week at most.
So most of my time is spent as Susie Homemaker..designing craft projects and making all kinds of stuff.

I have to admit I like this work better..............
