A little bit ago my doctor told me that I have sydrome X I believe is what he called it and told me that I have some insulin resitance? Exactly what does all that mean? Does it mean I will get diabetes?

Your doctor said that, some insulin resistance? What else did he say? Doesn't sound too good. I suggest you go back to him and make clarifications or read your blood laboratory test for glucose and insulin levels. I believe if you have insulin resistance, that makes you at risk for diabetes.

That is kind of what I figured, that I am at risk. With it being in the family I am not surprised though. He has be on metformin and said that my levels have been fine ever since I started taking it. I was just wondering if I am cursed to end up diabetic?

Oh, I hope not. There is so much hope for you. They say insulin resistance is reversible.

Default Insulin resistance

Theer ae a number of different insulin resistant. syndrom X was just afancy way of saying borderine.. or your begining to show signs of elevated glucose, or even your muscles are not using your insulina nd glucose properly.

Insulin resistance is just really where your muscles are not using glucose properly. the RBCs are packed with glucose and oxygen, but the insuoin is not acting liekit should.

This can be enhanced naturally by VItamin B high potency complex, combined with Chromium picolinate and of course an aspirin a day. All fo tehs ethings the chromium and B seems ot be a key in insulin resistance.
Theer are Glitazones that act teh same way. they make theinsuin and muscle tissue more reactive to allowing teh glucose to get in and get used.

Which ever you choose, it will help wicth the bodis ability to use what you have.
I prefer Vitamons and minerals, but when I need a boost or forget to take vitamoins I use Actos. both work well.
