Default Biggest Change?

What do you consider the biggest change since you were diagnosed? Is it having to make changes in diet, or something else?

Default My biggest change is the eating

I get nauseated wuickly when I eat too much. And when i was on glucotrol it was bad because I had tomor ethan make sure I ate on time. Now that I am on insulin I can follow how I like to eat.

Another change is in the type of food that trigger parisis problems.
Dry turkey.. a big nono,, certain grains Oh boy.......
Many times I wil be enjoying ameal and then I ahve to excuse myself only to have a repeat and not be bale to eat for a while.
Other than teh GP,, I am pretty happy wiht the positve changes.}I ahve to admit one thing that this board and your support has made me do was rethink what I am doing.I was unhappy practicing medicine, I was unhappy working for organizations that really in this area was ignoring. I was spinnig my wheels and getting frustrated at that.
Sooooooooooo afte much consideration........ I am staying on with teh NDEP as afeidl worker only.. that measn plenty of time to finally pursue my passions of what I enjoy.
That doesn't mean I will be giving up consultancies, and my CMEs or basic IH work.... by far I wont. But I have realized I am not happy.. and making dolls, cooking and enjoying life is what I need to do becaaause that is what makes me happy now........
And to Destiny, Strumello( ?), parise, Admin.. and the rest of you who have been here since I started I thank you.......

Well... what a nice post to find! You're very welcome, and yes, the true meaning of success is if you can get up in the morning and say that you're truly happy. If your dolls and cooking and the general enjoying of life is what's making you happy, then I say YIPPPPEEEEEEEEE! And you'll have your training and degree if you ever want to go back to it.

Well I hope that all that won't make that you won't be popping in here anymore. I've enjoyed talking with you and I have quite a collection of those recipes from your book that I want to try!
