Does Anyone Enjoy Taking Time For Foot Care? I read that the brain has a place of pleasure that's very near where the brain deals with feet. They say that's why some people have foot fetishes and go overboard about shoes too.
I was wondering about diabetics and that we all are supposed to take time every day and examine our feet and look at them to make sure they are healthy and doing well.
When I was younger I didn't mind taking time to make my feet look healthy and as pretty as feet can be (Which isn't very, in my humble opinion). But now that I am older, and should really take time to study my feet, I don't care to at all. I tend to just notice that my nails have to be cut and keep thinking that I have got to get to cutting them before they rip on something.
Maybe it's because I'm not as flexible as I used to be that I don't spend much time with my feet. Maybe I just don't care to take time to pumice them and lotion them or even do the nails like I used to.
Are there any people with diabetes out there who have fun taking care of their feet? I was just wondering if any of us really do like the job. |
