soft shoe shuffle Many diabetics have sever neuropthay or pronation or other condistions that often make the wearing of traditional shoes uncomforatble.
I had a damaged achilles tendon and blood blisters in deep tissue from shoes that were supposed to be for wide width and diabetic feet.
after it was discovered I didnt have an abscess I went to find shoes.
HAHAHAHA
I even tried those Crocks. the massaging bumps only aggrivated the neuropathy. I went to another store that had clogs without those bumps.
they ae called Natural Uniforms.
real nursing clogs have the choices of massaging bumps or no bumps. Choosethe no bumps.
The brand that fits my slightly wide foot is Natural Uniforms. they are 10 dollars a pair, and I ahve them in bright Starwberry color.
I never thought they woudl be sooooooooo comfortable, but I love them!
I am getting them in Lime, neon and black and white.
while they dont go with fancy dresses they do prevent metatarsalgia, blisters and so on.
You may find that where the hinge button is youll get a blister. But all you ahve to do is pop the button out or heat up the shoes and then slide it on.
It tooka few hours and the shoe conformed to my foot!
Its worth the few bucks to have a multiple purpose pair of comfortable shoes.
