Is glaucoma a big thing when it comes to diabeties. Is this something that I need to be really worried about. Is there something that I can do to settle the losing of my sight?

I think it is more of a problem around diabetics because when ever you go in for an eye exam it is one of the things they ask you about right away.

The scary thing about my eyes and my diabities. I was thinking that my eye sight was just getting worse, so I went to the eye doctor and got eye glasses. I even skipped the necessary test to see if there were anything major wrong with my sight.

Do diabetics have glaucoma? My eye Dr. wants me to go in for further test, because my eye pressure is over the scale. I have always had high eye pressure and this does not run in my family. I told my Eye Dr. this and he said that it is possible that I just have high Eye pressure and it wouldn't hurt for me to do further testing. I haven't done it yet, as I don't have insurance for it.
