Default bELLY dANCING

Soi my daughter wen to you tube and down loaded some belly dancing instructions.......... i felt so foolish at first, but now i find myself doing some of those steps while i am washing dishes or putteringa round. I am not one to go for outlandish costumes, but they are fun during teh day and toned up my tummy!

anyone else have any off teh wall or alternative exercises than:
yoga, pilates, cross training etc?????

What is the thread to your belly dancing steps? How long did it take you to tone up your stomach and how often did you do it each day? I would love to learn belly dancing, sounds like an interesting technique for one to learn.

Cassiopeia Belly Dance How To - Umi

This woman is a great teacher.

I do pilates crunches every night. 20 in the morning and 20 before bed while I am watching the news. I never thought it wouod work quickly but between diet and these it didnt take long to drop from a size 18 pants to a 14/16 pants in a few weeks.

Wow, that is great on the inches you have lost. Thanks for the link to your belly dancing moves. The moves look easy, but next time I watch them I am actually going to try the moves instead of watching them. Because I know the moves are not going to be that easy when I start practicing.

Default OMG they are so easy,

at least the umi and next two.....
thge first the umi you just stand theer and rotate your hips but not a full rotation. You just go sidem, front and side.. its a hoot. I font know why it works it just does!
teh second and the shimmy are fun. I use my Ester scraf around my hiups to make the coins jingle...
Its fun..............
