I heard yoga was good for people who have diabeties. I haven't tried it out yet but from what I heard, it has an altering affect on your body as well as the disease.

I think yoga is a good form of exercise for anyone to take up. It is very stress free and there are enough of the easier poses for you to start with.

I've seen the very positive results after a co-worker of mine took up yoga.

He lost weight and looked very healthy.

I'm curious to learn more about it.

I took yoga classes for about a year when they were offered free where I used to work. I loved forward to them so much.

I would go to the class feeling stressed or upset and leave feeling very calm.

That's what I need. Do you think someone could make any headway trying to learn the techniques on their own?

Sometimes my schedule makes it tough to keep appointments.

Well, I bought a couple of yoga DVDs for beginers. I've got to say it isn't as difficult as I thought it would be. The hardest part was finding a yoga mat that didn't cost 3x as much as the videos!

I gotta say, it is pretty relaxing.

I could see Yoga helping in any situation. I took Yoga, in the beginning I thought it was a joke. After a month of doing it 3 times a week, I found that it opened my senses, and thought process. I need to get back into this.
