Default Injury setbacks

This morning I awoke to a rude situation.. I can't walk very well. I am in a permanent s shape and it hurts........
I can sit but it begins ot spasm..
So I was wondering when you get injured how bad doe sthis set you back in your exercise.. no matter hwat you choose to do?

And if you do get hurt whats your most productive relief?
