Default Low impact?

Would a low impact exercise routine be better for a diabetic? You wouldn't be burning calories and fat quite as fast, but it would be less stress on the body at the time of exercise.

I firmly believe that a low impact routine is probably better for everyone. I also think that it becomes extra important after we hit a certain age. (I'm not quite sure what that is, but I'd guess 30 or 35).
