Default Inhaled insulin pulled

Exubera gets pulled from the market, Lilly discontinues AIR. Why is this happening. Why would patients want Ouch over Ouch less? Richard Dolinar, MD, Senior Fellow Healthcare Policy.
Basically the very loooooong article stated that Lily pulled Exubra, the first inhaled insulin off the market for a number of reasons.
First doctors were not prescribing it. Those that had the rx for it, found teh inhaler confusing and many diabetics just didnt think it woudl work so they didnt use it.
I for one woudl have..... no belly bruises... yeah!
But alas i couldnt get it. sigh..........

The research found you needed less for it to work effectively, it worked quicker.
Ok so a shot is easier to carry than an insulin bong..... maybe if they promoted it that way more would use it......

" take a toke of insulin......"

If you look at tehinhaler it was rather large and clumsy. If they could have made the inhaler teh size of say an ADvair inhaler they would probably be able to get more people to use it. Make it more portable.
I am waiting for the insulin patch................
