Again, I guess each person has to know themselves and how their body reacts to things. When I was on insulin, I always found that I could digest fruit and fruit sugars with less of a blood glucose reaction than I could eat bread or grains. Those would make me absolutely fly and my sugars would soar, while a light menu of fruit and some yogurt would keep me level all day.
