If food doesn't seem to be doing anything for you lately or if nothing seems to be what you want to eat, you might try a three day fruit fast. Check the calories in the fruit and keep your meter on hand to be safe, but sometimes a complete change of diet and a strict kind of eating regimen might just make you hunger for the well balanced diet again.

I find that a fruit fast will get your body moving along well, what with all that fruit you won't be constipated. There's lots of water in fruit and that does well for people who don't feel like eating because they can be a bit dehydrated and not know it.

After three days of fruit, just add some grains for the next day and then go back to your usual eating plan. By then you might actually be longing for the well balanced diet that bores you now. And you will probably fit into your jeans comfortably too.
