Lightbulb Be Prepared For Off Days

Off days happen to all of us. Don't feel too bad about it.

You might want to plan of off days when you know that you'll be looking for something different to eat.

Chinese food wasn't a bad choice. I don't know about carbs and Chinese food, but as long as you keep away from fried foods and get lots of veggies and have a huge bowl of soup, you won't harm your diet that badly.

Also you might want to have a small bag of snack food hidden in the back of the freezer that you can indulge in when the temptation is too much. Look around and see if you can find a small portion snack bag with something in it that might call to you, whether that call be salty or sweet, the next time you are in the supermarket. Wrap it up and forget it until that Siren song of temptation gets to you.

And if you just want to fill your mouth and pig out, have a bowl of cooked and raw veggies with chick peas (garbanzo beans) which might satiate that taste for meat, and loads of spices. A few hot pepper slices and you won't be able to eat, much less over eat!

And now that you might have had too much salt in the Chinese food -- drink lots of water. That will help your body get rid of the excess salt and start you back to a balanced sodium level.

If you are prepared for off days you won't do much damage at all.
