Default Checking to know

Before I got my blood sugar under control after I lost a lot of weight, I used to check right upon waking. If the numbers were strange I'd check before and after meals and any time I felt "off".

Try and make a point of trying to listen to your body and how you feel just before checking your blood sugars. Don't just do it automatically. It's always a good idea to do a little mind body communication and try to know what your body is going through. Don't take it for granted that you'll always be near a meter to get results to know what's going on. Try to get to the point where you can almost recognize what your number feels like. It's just another way to keep healthy.
