Is this a symptom of glaucoma ? The question is , is there damage to the eye proper or just the lid tissues? Loss of visuion or just discomfort because of muscles not working? Because diagnostic web sites ask you to look into light and if there is pain this is a symptom of a real problem.

Otherwise it sounds almost stye like but a collpase of tissues instead of blockage.
